Funds raised from the sale of limited edition prints go to support Syrian refugees living in Zaatari camp through Save the Children International's programs on the ground.
12 Giving the Daily Bread
The daily ritual in Zataari is the receiving of ‘free’ bread. There is hardly enough, and the queues begin before the sun rises. Eventually every person comes to the end of his or her wait, and must stand behind bars to be given their ration of bread. Most, like this young man, wait with an expression that cannot be mistaken for anything other than a silent indictment to those who have brought him here to ‘beg’ daily for his bread.
