33 The Walls of Jericho
This photograph was taken in the late afternoon light. After noting the man in the background ‘exiting left,’ I am left looking at the boy, wondering what walls he can bring down with his paper trumpet or what message is he trying to shout to me, but I can’t see his mouth to know if he is trying to speak. In my picture, at least, he is young and strong, and I hope that one day I will hear him loud and clear.
