Funds raised from the sale of limited edition prints go to support Syrian refugees living in Zaatari camp through Save the Children International's programs on the ground.
38 The United
The photograph is taken in the fenced bread distribution area. It is a depressing part of the camp but when I came across them, these children were running around in high spirits, one clutching the bag of bread he should have been taking back to his family. When I explained the photograph I wanted to take, they immediately understood and I got my symbolic shot, my representation of inner turmoil, my ‘feeling’ of injustice. But all I am left with in my head is a longing to see them running around again, laughing and hitting each other with their bags of bread.
